There was a brush fire between Meadow Point Elementary and Quincy Reservoir this evening, which is about six or seven blocks from my house! By the time I decided it might be worth grabbing the camera and hopping in the car, the flames were under control, and the black smoke had lightened dramatically. The best shots were taken from a helicopter because we weren’t allowed to get close enough to see it down the hill.
