It’s been a long time since I’ve known what it’s like to really communicate more than a friendly wave or “hello” with neighbors. Our next door neighbors and their friends who moved in directly across the street from them are Turkish. The grandmother doesn’t speak English, which makes for fun and interesting communication. They’re eager to help with yard work and to share food and tea. I must get some of their recipes!
While two of the boys were helping Greg in our yard, I brought out my camera and took some photos of the youngest boy, who is growing so fast! These are the four shots I printed and gave to the neighbors.
