If my daughter had been getting ready for her first prom yesterday at home, I may have done more photos in “photographer mode”. She got ready at a friend’s house with two other girls, though. I was there for the just-before-leaving shots like any other parent whose kids are heading for prom. So for the most part, I shot in “mom mode” last night. The poses were the same as for the four or five other cameras snapping away in the room, but the composition and lighting were different. Once a photographer, always a photographer … and once a mom, always a mom. The two can find a happy medium! 🙂
