Spring Storms

Late spring/early summer brings some tumultuous weather. On Wednesday evening, we thought we might have a repeat of exactly three years ago (a day earlier) as the clouds start move in slightly different directions, the lower layer moving faster than those above. Funnel clouds were spotted, and warning sirens went off, but nothing touched down. Here’s one view from Wednesday…

We had more thunderstorm warnings and a tornado watch last night, but we didn’t get the same torrential downpours that we got the night before. I glanced out my back door last night to see this breathtaking cloud formation (for those who don’t know, I’m fascinated by clouds)…

 

I think this last one is perfect for adding words of inspiration. Adding that to my list. 🙂
