I’m doing some re-evaluating and refreshing this weekend. Galaxy S smarter-than-you phone now updated from FroYo to Gingerbread, thanks to my tech guru son, Josh. Of course that meant starting from scratch – zero apps and some missing contacts. Talk about a full phone cleanse! I also updated my Facebook Page profile pic as well as the header on this blog.
The re-evaluating stems from the recent tragedy in my city. I don’t want to link to the story, but I’m sure that unless you live under a rock, you’ve heard about the theater shooting in Aurora, Colorado. I realize this type of thing doesn’t happen every day in the United States, but the fact that death by any means can happen anywhere at any time is seldom considered as we go about planning our lives. I keep pushing photography to the back burner thinking it can wait… I can spend more time on it in a year or so… I can try to grow a business from it at a later date… I can continue to expand my knowledge of it slowly, in bits and pieces, here and there, whenever I can squeeze it in.
New thought: If I may be dead tomorrow, I’m going to shoot today!
