Childhood Innocence | Denver Portrait Photography

I was able to get close to 100 photos of Peace With Christ‘s annual block party, which is a celebration for fellowship and to mark the end of Vacation Bible School. It started raining not even a full hour after I got there, and though they thought about waiting it out, there was far too much lightening. So while I didn’t capture nearly as much as I had hoped to, there was this gem that I knew even from the back of my camera was going to be one of my favorites. There was a bush in the foreground, and I was using a 70-200mm lens to stay out of people’s faces. The bush created what looked like a soft green haze to the image. There’s just a lot of yummy greenness going on here!
