Some of my happiest childhood memories are of spending time with my cousins, aunt, uncle, and grandparents in the country. My aunt and uncle now live in the country on that same property. We, however, live over 800 miles away now. We visited “home” this summer … Missouri. I think a lot of people get the impression that Missouri is all country and full of hicks. A fair amount very well may be. Not all country folk are stereotypical “hicks”. Our family, whether all are on board with admitting or not, have a little bit of hick in our blood. I embrace that! 😀
These were taken in the country with no prior fancy matchy-matchy wardrobe planning. Just us being us! Comfortable and enjoying one another’s company. 🙂
My sister and me with our cousins. There’s over 16 years between us. She’s older … kidding! I’m the oldest.
My cousins and me (yes, me – not I. It’s proper. Google it! 😛 ). We used to tromp through the woods together.
