ONCE UPON A TIME, there was a rose, a ring, and a video light. The rest, as they say, is history!
After a bit of careful set up, I created a photo that pleased me. I then grabbed an image of smoke off the interwebs and married the two. If I hadn’t been limited on time, I would have made my own smoke image. That’s neither here nor there, though. So moving on … Here is the final color image and then a black & white conversion (more steps involved than simply hitting the BW button š ).
I played a while longer with a lookĀ that isn’t a favorite of mine. However, many like the look of selective color so I’m postingĀ these next two to show that I can do this on request to a very limited number of images from a session. Personally, I prefer the image on the right with just a touch of color.
