Mount Falcon Park in Morrison, Colorado was the setting for this July engagement photo session. We chose the west trailhead for the most picturesque scenery. The lingering smoke from distant wildfires mingled with the setting sun and created a soft, warm light on this happy couple and their fur baby.
This was the first time I’d been to this park. I didn’t even know about it before. It easily made its way onto my list of favorite photo spots. I will definitely return! However, I won’t be repeating the Castle Trail hike to the ruins of John Brisben Walker’s castle. I didn’t check the trail map first, but part of it is considered “more difficult” and the return hike was uphill … VERY uphill!
These two are very much in love and anxiously awaiting their wedding day.
I can’t remember if this was a playfully intercepted kiss, or if the kiss was planned for the dog. Either way … cute shot!
